I discovered Hood River in 2003 during a year long RV adventure and immediately fell in love with the town and it’s multitude of outdoor activities. In 2006, I was able to realize my dream of moving here when I left my job as an international corporate warrior to purchase Doppio. While my goal was always to create an atmosphere that brought some of my European roots to the US, our focus at Doppio is the rich coffee culture in the Northwest and providing fresh, delicious foods from the bounty of the Columbia River Gorge.
